This footage features our research scientists installing (one of 3) 'TEST STATIONS' around Cape Town CBD. The general public is asked not to tamper with the stations until all results are fully quantified, however photographic submissions of each site are encouraged. Anyone to submit photos of all 3 test sites, will rewarded with an invitation to the official launch event at the laboratory on the 24th October 2009

Local scientists have recently rolled out a mass-scale public awareness campaign to encourage the Cape Town general public to engage in the "Triple Helix' viral DNA cloning experiment. The experiment is an exercise to investigate viral DNA anatomy, to better understand how a virus spreads and ultimately, how it can be contained. It has been indicated that DNA anatomy relating to a virus such as the influenza virus (h0n1) could provide clues and answers in achieving exclusive protective immunity. The public is requested to forward information and links back to this site and onto personal social networks to enhance this public awareness campaign (as picture below).

No further comments have been made at this stage but updates are scheduled throughout the months of September and October 2009.
